Financial services firm Taylor Collison has produced a research report detailing a sharp drop in new car sales on the flagship Australian website of Carsales (ASX: CRZ), carsales.com.au. There has been a 28% decline in new car listings since it started collecting data in Sept 12. The drop has primarily come from Holden, Nissan, Honda, and Volkswagen, as it is believed that the manufacturers have directed dealerships to pull most new car listings.
