Building a Portfolio for the Decade Ahead
In 2021, cash yielded just 0.10%. Today, it’s 4.35%, while mega-cap rally leaders have sent global markets soaring. Traditional stock-heavy portfolios thrived in that environment, but the macro landscape has changed. How is Soul Patts, Australia’s answer to Berkshire Hathaway, adapting its $16 billion portfolio to navigate what comes next?

The Seven Deadly Sins of Investing
Why do smart investors repeatedly make wealth-destroying mistakes? Because human judgement evolved to survive physical threats, not manage global portfolios in a hyperconnected market. This session will unpack seven hard-wired behavioural biases that quietly erode returns and how greater awareness can sharpen your decision-making.

Signal or Noise: What Matters and What You Should Ignore
The macroeconomic playbook has changed. Low inflation and rates were an anomaly; geopolitical tensions and de-globalisation are now reshaping asset classes and portfolio outcomes. In this session, our panel uses decades of market experience to help you cut through the noise and focus on the trends that actually matter right now.
