AUS heading for its 12th straight gains? Just look at the divergence between the ASX200 (XJO) vs. Dow Jones (US)... Go Australia! So far, FXL, REA & JBH have reported strong earnings and have met FY15 guidance.. a great start to the AUS reporting season. TAH has announced a special dividend of 30 cents per share and said its underlying net profit rose 21.8% to $90.9 million in the six months ended December 31, 2014, which was ahead of the $87.3 million analysts' expectations What we are also looking at is CEO's outlook statements and whether they upgrade/downgrade FY16 guidance... In the US, reporting season has also been very strong with 91% of tech companies beating analysts expectations... wow. Last night, Pfizer announced a $17bn deal, boosting valuations in the Healthcare sector, while LinkedIn has just announced its result... EPS of $0.61 vs. $0.53... wow Commodities were generally weaker last night, with Crude Oil up 1.90% to $50.76/barrel, Gold down $3.33/oz. to $1,266/oz. and Copper up 0.43%, trading at $2.59/lb.
