Defensive stocks such as Ingenia (INA) have benefitted from the ageing population thematic in Australia. Equity Analyst Mark Tobin (Wilson Asset Management) explains why he feels the market may have overlooked FKP Property in recent times due to a complicated structure that may have seen it placed in the too hard basket. Mark notes that the business has a new CEO with a mandate to clean up the structure and focus on a single story retirement living. The ink has barely dried on the recently released strategy, however, there is a precedent in the market for this model and the stock may well be off many investors radars.
