Saxo’s Steen Jakobsen explains why the Fed must raise rates before it's too late

The recent sell-off in the market has scared investors away, according to Saxo’s Chief Economist Steen Jakobsen. The uncertainty around the decision of the US Fed next week has been one of the biggest triggers of this volatility. But precisely because of the high levels of stress in the markets, Jakobsen believes the Fed will decide to hike rates during their meeting on the 16 and 17 of September.
