After a very quiet January, market activity is back at full throttle, and the domestic economy is showing signs of life. The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) having recently upgraded its growth and inflation outlook for CY14 and adopted a neutral monetary policy bias for the first time in many months. However, the domestic economy still has its share of challenges as we attempt to navigate the air pocket caused by the decline in mining investment and await the ramp up in net exports which ought to be hastened by a falling currency. As such, the OC Premium Small Companies Fund still retains solid exposure to companies that can grow their earnings in a low growth environment such as M2 Telecommunications (MTU), Dominos Pizzas (DMP), Slater & Gordon (SGH), G8 Education (GEM) and Virtus Health (VRT). ?More here: (VIEW LINK)
