Amazon (AMZN) continues its pursuit of world domination, this time by partnering with the US Postal Service to deliver packages on Sundays. This is good news for AMZN as it will speed inventory turnaround during the holiday season. And, it's even better news for the Postal Service, which lost roughly $16 billion last year. Initially, Sunday deliveries will take place in Los Angeles and New York City. However, more cities will be added next year. The USPS signaled it may offer similar services to other private companies. What impresses me most is how Amazon appears to be able to move mountains. The company is constantly changing the rules of the game (to its advantage) and is consistently serving as a disruptive force in the business world. It's also just one more reason why investors don't care if the company turns a profit.
