Building materials company Brickworks (ASX: BKW) announced its half yearly results on Wednesday, with the company reporting a record first half revenue of $360 million with its main building products division the major driver. Underlying net profit after tax was $75 million, up 19.4% on the previous corresponding period which was slightly ahead of expectations. The company stated they are not seeing any slowdown in the housing market or demand for its products. Shares in Brickworks closed up 2% for the week. We own BKW in the investment portfolio.
