Vocation Ltd, one of the largest providers of vocational education and training in Australia recently exceeded broker expectations by reporting NPATA of $10m for 1HFY14.Since listing late last year at $1.89 per share, the stock has risen over 30% to $2.67. I believe there is still significant capacity in the price and am comfortable buying up to $3.10. VET are dominating the private education sector in Victoria and are set to do the same in NSW when the Demand Driven Funding model is introduced from 1 Jan 2015. The company now has access to equity and debt capital and has great industry contacts via Chairman John Dawkins, former Treasurer (1991-1993) and Minister for Employment, Education and Training (1991-1987).This sector is one to watch and Vocation Ltd should be firmly on your radar.
