Global Geoscience is a micro cap gold explorer, like many of its peers the stock is out of favour. The stock does have a few attributes that in my eyes make it stand out. GSC made a greenfields gold discovery in Nevada a region famous for large, low grade deposits and the home of heap leach extraction. Management have been cautious to protect shareholders equity and the Company maintains a tight register with relatively few shares on issue. With exploration expenditure rapidly declining there are fewer opportunities to gain exposure to new discoveries. GSC will announce a partnering deal in the near future that will help the Company fund further exploration. This is definitely at the speculative end of the market, however, the business has progressed during difficult times with one of the few new discoveries in recent times.
