IPO pipeline primed. Australia's IPO market is alive and kicking with Genworth Mortgage Insurance (ASX: GMA) making a successful ASX debut last week which bodes well for future floats. At Wilson Asset Management, we are experiencing the fastest pace of new company listings since before the GFC. Over the last month our investment team has looked in detail at around 10 to 15 floats. With current conditions conducive to company listings, we predict the IPO pipeline will maintain its current pace and strength. We are selectively participating in floats of what we perceive to be high quality businesses based on our research. We participated in the Genworth IPO.
