Linc Energy has had many skeptics and detractors over the years, however, you can't deny the fact that they have been an innovator and a pioneer in the market. Linc has will pull up stumps on the ASX and move to the SGX, a move motivated as much by apathy from the Australian markets as it is by the opportunity presented by a more energetic market. Today, as part of the move offshore, Linc announced it will decommission the Chinchilla UCG facility that has been in operation for 14 years. Linc Energy has been a big contributor to QLD economy as an employer and has also been a highly liquid mid cap stock on the ASX. I think to a large extent the value the Company has brought to the Australian market has been overlooked and it is sad to see a business like this pull up stumps in Australia
