On Monday in Australia, the purchasing managers' index for manufacturing in August is due out at 9:30am while second-quarter inventories and profits are released at 11:30am. The RBA's commodity index is released at 4:30pm while residential approvals data for July and RP Data-Rismark house prices for August is due out at 11:30am. The HSBC manufacturing purchasing managers' index for China is also released at 11:45am (market expectation: 50.2). More importantly, on Tuesday, the RBA announces its monthly cash rate decision (market expectations: no change at 2.5%).
