Representing 80% of global gold production, the Denver Gold Forum gathers the world's largest single grouping of gold stocks. The Forum started Tuesday and finishes Thursday. Key takeaways from Oceanagold's (OGC) talk included a redesigned open pit with lower waste, resulting in a saving of $170-180 million over the life of mine. The underground inventory is now closer to 16 Million tonnes, compared to Reg's estimate of 12 Mt (and the previous figure of 8Mt).
