Rob Rayner (RF CorVal) - Risk adjusted returns in property
In this episode, Rob Rayner the CEO of RF CorVal joins David to discuss his career to date, valuations in Australian property, and Rob's outlook for property assets during an environment of rising interest rates.
RF CorVal is a specialist property fund manager that manages funds on behalf of a broad range of investors. Since inception in 2009, RF CorVal has acquired $2.6 billion of real estate on behalf of large institutions, family offices, offshore groups, wholesale and retail investors and delivered a weighted average Equity IRR to investors of approximately 20%. to January 2023.
Rob is a founder and CEO of RF Corval. Rob has some 30 years of experience in the Australian financial services and property industry, with wide-ranging involvement in the establishment, re-structuring and on-going management of various property funds on behalf of both retail and private wholesale investors, family offices and institutional mandates. Rob has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and is an associate member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Financial Securities Institute of Australia.
