RP Data's final auction clearance rates for last week were recorded at 68.1%, down from 69.3% over the previous week. Over the week there were 2,033 auctions which were down from 3,231 over the previous week and RP Data collected results from 84% of all auctions. In Melbourne, auction volumes fell thanks to the Spring Racing Carnival. Across 220 total auctions, RP Data collected results from 191 and the clearance rate was 69.6%, the lowest Melbourne auction clearance rate in 4 weeks. In Sydney, there were 1,259 auctions and RP Data collected results from 1,067 of these auctions. The clearance rate was recorded at 75.6%, the highest Sydney auction clearance rate in four weeks.
