US Economic Deterioration. Why we be long Euro, long Pound and short the $USD

Currency trading is tough. Sometimes currency market trends are based on facts, other times on fashion. What we do, is trade currencies based on the relative strength of our growth and inflation expectation indicators between one country and another. In the last few hours and days, we have closed our GBP and Euro short positions. Taking a long position in both of these currencies versus the $USD. The reason lies in the charts below.
