Whilst the pricing around the speculative Glencore bid for OZ Minerals looks dubious the fact remains that there has been increased M&A activity in The Australian markets. With half of OZ's market cap reflected in cash and liquid assets (SFR) you can understand where exposure to two copper assets could look appealing. Reports have indicated Glencore have taken a 10% stake in Oz Minerals, however, analysts are hosing down the likelihood of a take over bid emerging. Full report in The Australian (VIEW LINK)
