The ASX now hosts 426 exchange-traded products (ETPs), including both active and passive ETFs, with a combined value of $333 billion (as at 28 February 2026).

When we first ran our Listed Series in 2023, that figure was 269 ETPs and $135 billion, a reminder of just how quickly this part of the market has evolved.

That expands further when you include the 88 listed investment companies and trusts (LICs and LITs), with a combined value of around $56 billion – a figure that has remained broadly unchanged since our inaugural Listed Series survey in 2023.

Last week, we kicked off the fourth instalment of our Listed Series, focused on how investors can use these products effectively within a portfolio.
