A chart providing some interesting context for the strong seasonally adjusted monthly employment figures released yesterday. The strong result certainly seemed to catch many off guard and raises an interesting question about how much accurate each release is. In the words of Greg Jericho who writes for The Guardian; Inclined to think the seasonally adjusted employment figures have a fair bit of statistical noise. I will leave you to make your judgement, however, the chart below certainly warrants a second look and places the result in context..
