After a dismal showing post IPO, GDI Property Group's (ASX:GDI) corporate appeal has been singled out by Credit Suisse. The stock dropped more than 10% on listing and has not recovered. The broker suggests GDI has potential to grow it's property syndicate business and whilst their gearing ratio is relatively low at 25%, they have room to move. The AFR suggests that Blackstone would be the most obvious acquirer in a bid to beef up Valad, it's office and industrial landlord which could be up for IPO or trade sale soon. Watch this space.
