Australian shares are set to open lower as the market takes another step towards wiping out all of this year's gains. World markets fell as investors remain unsure about prospects for central-bank stimulus and economic growth. On the ASX24, the SPI futures contract are down 36 points lower to 4694 while the Aussie dollar is currently trading at about $94.72, about half a cent higher than yesterday's close. (VIEW LINK)
