Barclays Investment Director: End of QE will make 2000 look like a day at the beach. Hans Olsen, the Head of Americas Investment Strategy for Barclays, had some pretty grim comments on the state of the American markets. He believes that the Fed's QE program has caused massive, unwarranted price inflation for stocks. He points out that the math doesn't add up as the market is up 17% on only a 2.5% increase in earnings. This pushes everything out of balance and has created the potential for a massive collapse, like the one after the end of the tech bubble. Olsen urges that the market needs to get back to pricing on fundamentals rather than speculation in order to get back to stability. (VIEW LINK)
