Berkshire Hathaway's cash pile has returned to peak levels indicating that Warren Buffett - at this precise moment - isn't seeing many bargains out there. Berkshire Hathaway's cash and short term investments currently total nearly $50BN which is a similar figure to what it was holding back in late 2008 and then a couple of times post GFC. Quartz suspects that the great investor is merely rebuilding his supply of dry powder and waiting for the buying opportunity the market might offer. Many seem to be bobbing around in the same boat.
