Commercial offices head for Quality street
Elanor Investors Group is a listed real estate fund manager that invests across four main real estate asset classes: Commercial office; retail; healthcare real estate; and hotels. It was formed in 2009. And since then it has realised an average 20% return for investors.
As David Burgess, Fund Manager and Co-Head of Real Estate, and Liz Bors, Head of Leasing and Investment explain in this video, tenant demand in the commercial office sector is up 18% from the previous high of 2019. And through the COVID years that demand is translating into transactions as tenants pursue quality. Says Bors:
"They're looking for assets that are providing the amenity, the location, and overlaying that the wellbeing for their staff. And this is where we are confident staff will be drawn back into the office. So the demand's there, the enquiries are there, and importantly, people are starting to return to the office."
Since the Elanor Commercial Property Fund was listed in December 2019 it has outperformed all of its peers and delivered a distribution yield of well over eight and a half per cent in that time.
