During the recent August reporting period RBA Governor Glen Stevens caused significant debate concerning the role of Corporate Australia in stimulating growth within the Australian Economy. Stevens said that the onus now falls on Corporate Australia to take more risk and invest in growth rather than the current trend of returning capital to shareholders.
