European shares hit fresh seven-year highs on Tuesday. Investors were comforted by Janet Yellen's comments. And euro zone creditors approved the list of reforms put forward by Greece to secure an extension of bail-out funds. The FTSEurofirst index rose by 0.5%, with the German Dax up 0.7% to record highs and the UK FTSE was up by 0.5% to record highs. Mining shares rose in London with BHP Billiton up by 6.2% while Rio Tinto rose by 1.4%.
