Fonterra's forecast Farmgate Milk Price reflects strong international prices for dairy â?? Fonterra Co-operative Group today announced an opening forecast Farmgate Milk Price of $7.00 per kgMS for the 2013-14 season â?? up $1.20 on the current season. Chairman John Wilson said the higher forecast Milk Price for the new season reflected continuing strong international prices for dairy. In addition, Fonterra also confirmed a higher Advance Rate schedule which ensures farmers receive higher payments for their milk early in the season. (VIEW LINK)
