For those who have followed the highly successful story of BC Iron you will be interested to see Mike Young has been appointed CEO of Energy and Minerals Australia. Mike was the founding MD of BC Iron (floated in 2007) and took the company from exploration through to production and as it stands today a highly profitable and dividend paying resources business. Mike will now focus on bringing EMA's Mulga Rock uranium project into production by 2016. The timing for me is interesting as a number of fund managers, including Justin Braitling at Watermark, have highlighted uranium as a commodity with a positive outlook. Young has an exceptional record on project delivery as well as creating shareholder wealth, this is a positive step for EMA. (VIEW LINK)
