Peak Asset Management

Good Morning, Ok... today will be a busy day with CBA, CSL, CPU, SUN, BWP, BLD, DMP among others to report their FY results... Yes, am certainly looking forward to grabbing a sandwich and eating it at the desk... This is called the glamorous world of funds management... For those wanting to say hello, you will know where I will be... So far, SGH, JBH, FXL and ANN have reported better than expected earnings, with strong topline growth... Margins are rising as management pull back spending ad cut costs... This will be the likely theme of the AUS reporting season. We will also be closely monitoring CEOs' outlook statements and the respective leverage the company has to the falling AUD. Last night, US stocks rose (Dow up 148 points), on hopes a deal in Greek debt negotiations was drawing closer and on Coca-Cola earnings. Commodities were generally weaker Friday night, with Crude Oil down 4% to $50.33/barrel, Gold down $7.00 to $1,234/oz. and Copper now trading at $2.54/lb. The SPI is pointing to a 17 point rise on open. (VIEW LINK)
