Helping to address another early slump across risk assets overnight, James Bullard, St Louis President, suggested that the Fed should consider delaying an end to QE in light of dimming inflation expectations. While a dovish statement, the rest of his interview with Bloomberg was anything but with Bullard suggesting that the hard data on the US has been good, that he sees 3% plus GDP growth in H2 2014 and in 2015 with inflation expected to reach 2.4% by the end of 2015 before easing lower once more. Despite those words, markets, under pressure with short-term positioning looking overly-stretched, leapt on the mention of QE with initial market moves largely reversed in the back-half of the session....
