It's not every day a company like Gold Road (ASX: GOR) comes along that strongly suggests a world-class +5M oz gold camp. The company is one of our long-standing emerging gold exposures and it has maintained aggressive and focused exploration and appraisal activity with respect to its vast Yamarna Belt gold project - an underexplored region encompassing an area of 5,000 sq km area within Western Australia's Yilgarn Craton. Robust grades and extensive widths are key features of gold mineralization within the project area. GOR has just identified a mineralised intercept comprising 781 metres at 1.29 g/t Au (between 22 metres and 803 metres), extending mineralisation to 750 metres vertical depth. The latest results reinforce the tremendous scope to the Yamarna project, supporting our long-held view of a global gold resource in excess of 5 million ounces.
