Lend Lease Group (ASX:LLC) took out top spot in a housing construction survey after winning $2.4 billion in contracts in FY2013. The Housing Industry Association-Cordell Construction 100 survey found Australia's largest 100 construction contractors and non-residential builders won contracts worth $35.8 billion in 2013. In a statement, HIA said this made up 26% of the total value of construction work commenced. Hansen Yuncken ranked second in the survey with $2.2 billion in contracts, followed by BMD Constructions with $1.9 billion, Laing O'Rourke Australia with $1.5 billion and Thiess with $1.4 billion.
