Market Update: The S&P/ASX 200 edged higher 0.1% at 5,393 on light volume after a modest rise in the U.S. and European equity markets overnight. Resources were mixed with BHP up 0.6% while RIO was down 0.6%. The major banks were all lower between 0.2% and 0.8%. Orica added another 7.2% on top of yesterday's 11.6% rise. The AUD was slightly lower to be trading at US$0.9338. The SPI was up 0.1% at 5,409 points on the Sydney Futures Exchange.
