No holiday blues post Mantra IPO: Manager and marketer of hotels in Australia, Mantra Group Limited (ASX: MTR), announced its results last Friday which were ahead of the prospectus forecast, and also reconfirmed guidance issued for FY2015. Its three major brands are Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree hotels. Mantra Group has a very high quality management team and an asset base which can be utilised to drive operating leverage within the business. In the last few years the company has successfully navigated though a tough macro-economic environment and management have done a sound job in turning the business around post GFC. The company also has a strong balance sheet capable of driving growth by acquisition. While parts of the domestic travel market remain flat, Mantra Group has been able to snare market share from competing hotel providers.
