Overnight: US stocks turned lower after Federal Reserve meeting minutes suggested the central bank was looking for ways to exit or at least slow down its bond-buying program fairly soon. Treasury prices extended losses after the minutes from the Federal Reserve's last policy meeting. The U.S. dollar edged lower after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke emphasized plans to continue ultra-loose policy. Gold futures fell after data showed a stronger-than-expected rise in retail sales and a decline in consumer prices in October. Oil futures edged lower ahead of a weekly government update on US petroleum supplies after a trade group reported a rise in crude and gasoline inventories along with a decline in distillate stockpiles.
