OzForex terminates takeover discussions with Western Union

OzForex announced to the ASX this morning that they have terminated discussions with Western Union regarding the takeover offer received in November last year. The company said in its announcement: “Although discussions continued for some months, Western Union has not submitted a binding proposal. Accordingly, the Board of OFX has terminated discussions with Western Union.” The Board also provided a trading update advising of reducing trading volumes and customer acquisition, with resulting reduced guidance.
