#SAI Global's (SAI) failure to find a buyer show how diversification can be a double edge sword. No one wants all of SAI - it's like the company has its own built in poison pill. This was true back in 2008 when Intertek bought and sold a strategic stake in the business, and sadly for shareholders, it remains true today. For this reason, PanAust (PNA) and Wotif.com (WTF) have a higher probability of consummating a marriage.
