Local market closed slightly lower as resources weighed on the market struggling with low sentiment. Market was dragged into the negative territory by Miners, Property Trusts and TLS. US Fed speeches later this week…including one from Yellen…will be looked upon to set the tone for global markets…but likely to deliver nothing more than “positive but data dependent”. US moving towards protectionist policy settings (i.e. border tax) while China backs away (i.e. indefinitely pushing back e-commerce regulation)…good for Australia.
