The Australian Share Market is struggling to hold onto its gains in the morning session

The Australian Share Market is struggling to hold onto its gains in the morning session as the move towards 6000 Index points is put on hold for the time being. After a strong open where we hit 5995 points there was a little hope we could breach the major psychological level but it wasn't to be as very quiet day of economic releases in the region took the steam out of the market, Market Turnover into lunch was also much weaker at $1.031 billion. Given the market did outperform on Thursday and Friday it wasn't a surprise to see the market fail to fire in this session. This afternoon expect the market to give back a few more of the gains from last week to finish down around 20 to 30 points. Across the market commodity based stocks were again in play....
