There's a story in there on how the Australian economy is really faring in light of the fact that these those two companies are outperforming. Home delivered pizza, and home-made coffee. Not the type's of products people would naturally drift toward in more prosperous and free wheeling times. Credit Suisse also had an interesting report out showing that only 22% of companies missed on dividends per share, whilst 35% missed on EPS and half missed on free cash flow The reticence of boards to disappoint shareholders desperate for yield in a low rate environment is clearly a global phenomena, but it bodes poorly for future growth.
