There are signs of life in the uranium sector and one of the biggest beneficiaries is Alligator Energy (ASX: AGE), up 80% so far this month. AGE is our favoured emerging uranium stock, as it maintains prime exploration acreage within the Alligator Rivers Uranium Province of the Northern Territory. Furthermore it has the highly successful Macallum Group (ex-Extract Resources) as its major shareholder. Interest in the stock is beginning to build as the company's 2014 exploration field campaign has kicked off, along with recent moves by Japan to recommence nuclear power generation, albeit initially on a modest scale. AGE's share price has responded strongly, rising by more than 80% since early July.
