Vivek Bommi is a senior portfolio manager with Neuberger Berman, a US-based investment management firm with over US$355 billion under management. When we caught up with him earlier in 2019, he was arguing against the consensus view at the time of imminent recession.

Vivek dropped into Livewire’s Bridge Street office again recently to update us on his outlook for 2020, which he outlined in the short segment below.

We also took the opportunity to ask how this market view feeds into Neuberger’s investment strategy and what characteristics he is looking for in high yield bonds today. Vivek then finished by nominating three sectors that tick the boxes for him right now.

Watch now for the full story.

Neuberger Berman’s Global Corporate Income Trust (ASX:NBI) was listed on the ASX in September 2018 and provides investors with exposure to the high yield bonds of large and liquid global companies.
