Today's ISM Services (Non-manufacturing) Index brought a nice upside surprise

Today's ISM Services (Non-manufacturing) Index brought a nice upside surprise. November's number came in at 59.3, a big jump from last month's 57.1 and much higher than the consensus estimate of 57.5. 8 out of the 10 index components increased from last month as well as year-over-year. The Business Activity Index increased 4.4% from last month, while New Orders climbed 2.3%. The Employment Index declined 2.9% but remains 2.2% above last year's reading.
