Tonight will be biggest ADP jobs report of all time - Normally, on the first Friday of every month non-farm payrolls report, aka the jobs report, is released to the market. However, this month is no normal month - barring an agreement to open the government before Friday morning, there will be no non-farm payrolls report. That means for traders, this week's ADP report will be the big show (to be released tonight at 10:15pm AEST). The official forecast for this month's figure is 175,000, down slightly from 176,000 last month. And again, while ADP is frequently criticised for not getting the number right the truth of the matter is that on any medium timeframe, it basically does get the number right.
