US Federal Reserve faces headwinds as it starts to raise rates
Interest rate and foreign exchange volatility has begun to increase as the market anticipates the time when the US Federal Reserve will start to reduce monetary accommodation and raise interest rates. Some economists have speculated that we could see another 1937-style recession as a result of this tightening. In our view, although the Fed faces some headwinds, the chances of a recession are remote. (VIEW LINK)
