We have a Spec Buy recommendation on Consolidated Tin (ASX: CSD) as it moves towards first tin production in late 2014. The company has just completed a positive Pre-feasibility Study on its advanced Herberton tin project in northern Queensland and is moving ahead with a full feasibility study that should see first tin production during late 2014.

I saw Ralph 's presentation on Wednesday and wanted to ask him about this timeframe: a year didn't seem anything like long enough to do a DFS, then organise funding, and then license and build a plant, before then commissioning it. What are your thoughts?

Hi Alex, they're planning on using the existing Mt Garnet plant, which has accelerated the whole timeline. They're finalising access to the plant with their Chinese major shareholder, which bought the plant last year.
