With many analysts focusing on how many Apple Watches will sell, AAPL's heavy emphasis on mobile gaming seems to be getting overlooked. A big part of yesterday's presentation of the new iPhones dealt with the new displays and graphics engine, including a demo of a new game with impressive 3D visuals. The focus on gaming is becoming a major trend as mobile and console gaming become increasingly popular. Amazon recently bought Twitch, a video platform and live streaming service for gamers, for nearly $1 billion. And this week, news has dropped that Microsoft is nearing a $2 billion deal to buy Mojang, the maker of Minecraft. With the purchase, Microsoft will be adding an ultra-popular game to its collection which has already sold over 50 million copies. So who's next on the acquisition list? Google, it's your move.
