(2/2) Back to the sharemarket, of the hundreds of people I spoke to most were confident in market valuations. They'd made good money from (the same 14) stocks but were looking to de-weight their bank exposure in particular. All held small/micros and most knew a few of CTNs top 20 surprisingly well, with Graphite and Lithium stocks currently popular. Most shrugged off their small resources losses with that's the market, the other side of that bet were my large positions/ banks which paid off. No one appeared shy to invest. While large caps were considered fully priced, the general mood was of good P/E's, EPSg and ROEs in small/ micros. Investors were buying quality stocks and holding cash. The coming earnings season is key- if it meets expectations they're buying more. Overall, it was a positive atmosphere and they are looking for good ideas from anyone including their brokers.
