A little know WA based company called Algae Tec (AEB) posted a significant 36% gain following a breakthrough report. Algae Tec is looking to produce and sell industrial volumes of algae into an emerging market called neutraceuticals. The Company just received a report that validated the industrial production methods it has planned for its first commercial venture in Nowra. So what is the excitement about? The company says its algae are in high demand, particularly in Asia. One variety, dubbed B-Carotene, can fetch up to $90,000 a tonne wholesale.
